There are a lot of options in the new shopping cart. If you get confused while shopping, open up another browser window and return to this page. I’ll explain all the new options and products here. See the end of this page to find out why I made the change from Paypal.*
When you tap on the shopping cart on an image, it will look like the photo below. These are the new options. There are a lot of them, so they're explained in this page.
You are still welcome to download and print the photos from the site.
Purchased photos will be different. The photo that goes to Bay Photo for your print will be of much higher resolution. The photos on the web are 2000x1300 pixels. The purchased photo that goes to the printer will be from 3000 to 8000 pixels on the longest edge. The purchased photo will not have the Crawford, America watermark on it.
Metal Prints
Metal prints are created by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. They have vibrant colors and make a great display piece.
Metal prints don't have to be framed.
You can order them with a float mount for wall display or an easel mount.
With a floating mount, the image appears to hover about a half inch off the wall. The easel mount is for display on a desk or shelf.

Canvas Prints
Fine Art Giclée canvas products are printed directly onto museum quality canvas material using high quality archival inks.
Download
While you are welcome to download the web site photo, this option allows you to download the original finished photo file. It will be larger and more detailed than the web site version, and will not have a watermark.
Downloads will not be immediately available, as Fotomoto does not store my full sized photos. When you make a purchase, they email me and I upload the file. They send you an email that your file is ready, and a link to download it.
Cards

eCards
eCards can be sent to anyone with an email address at no charge. You enter the email address of the recipient and send. You can also add text. The eCard will have a link back to Crawford, America.

I was never good at the printing, labeling, and mailing part of selling photographs. Sometimes I’d miss orders, or would take a couple of weeks to mail them. The PayPal shopping cart was a cludgy mess. In fairness to them, Paypal is not designed to sell photos. They collect money, and then I do everything else. I had to price things high enough to send them to the photo lab, pick them up, package them in envelopes, drive to the post office and mail them. Even at $6.00 for a 4"X6", I still lost money.
That’s why I encouraged people to simply print them off the site, or get them on a thumb drive. People still want hard copy photos, though, and still ordered them.
